Confess the Word of God over your Life

The Greek word for confess is hom-ol-og-eh’-o which basically means “to say the same thing” and then “agree, admit, acknowledge”. (bible.org)
We are to Confess the Word of God over our lives and come into agreement with what God says about us. We do this by partnering with the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us into all truth. As you confess the Word over your life think about your true identity. Not how you see yourself, not the opinions of others about you, but Confess your true identity as God sees you.
Below is a Prayer of Confession for you. Read it out loud, speak it forth and really think about it. Meditate on it until it sinks in. Receive all that God has for you and confess or declare the Word of God over your life. The spoken word of God out of your mouth and spoken in faith believing completely is a powerful tool. Proverbs 18:21 “Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences. (TPT). Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (KJV).
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (KJV). God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one can resist God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what. Hebrews 4:12-13 (Message Bible).
Note the large bold print of this Faith Confession. I want you to catch a vision of the Word of God as Large and Bold in your life. Let the Word stand up tall in you. Declare the Word out of your mouth with Boldness and a confident assurance that you can change your life through the power of the spoken Word of God. Now…..Speak the Word Only!
Faith Confession
In the name of Jesus, I am a believer. I believe God’s Word. I am what the Word says I am. I have what the Word says I have. I can do what the Word says I can do.
In Jesus’ name, I render ineffective every negative word I have spoken, every negative thing I have thought, every word and thought that has been contrary to the truth of God’s Word. From this moment forward, I will acknowledge only the good things that are in me in Christ Jesus.
I am saying it now: out of the good treasure of my heart, only good things will come to pass. I am the righteousness of God, a new creation, an heir of God, and a joint heir with Jesus. I have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son.
I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb – redeemed from the curse of the Law; redeemed from sickness and disease, poverty and death. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I am more than a conqueror.
He never leaves me nor forsakes me. Since the Greater One dwells within me, I can overcome every situation. The faith of God resides within me, and through it I have the victory that overcomes the world.
I thank you, Father, that I can have all these things. I believe it in my heart. I have released it with my mouth. So be it. It will surely come to pass, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
